Suite à mon premier livre, RAWHIDE WEST, qui se situait quelque-part entre le artbook, le comics, et le roman graphique, j'ai décidé de reprendre ce matériau pour en faire une bande dessinée à part entière.
Je suis donc actuellement en train de réécrire le scénario et d'approfondir les personnages, et j'en profite pour m'entrainer à diversifier les expressions de mes personnages, points sur lequel je pense être encore trop faible.
Il s'agit ici plus d'un exercice que d'un travail fini, et pour faire ces différentes expressions, je me suis basé sur le design original du héros de cette histoire, Lash Buffet. Après avoir fait cette série de visages, il me semble que son visage est un peu trop lisse et fade, malgré les diverses expressions et c'est donc là dessus que j'ai décidé de porter les modifications sur ce personnage.

I am thus now rewriting the scenario and going further into the characters, and I take advantage of it to train to diversify the expressions of my characters, that's a thing on which I think I'm still too low.
It's here more an exercise than a finished work, and to make these various expressions. I based myself on the original design of the hero of the book, Lash Buffet. Having made this series of faces, it seems to me that his face is too smooth and flat, in spite of the diverse expressions and so I decided to work on it for the main modification of this character.

RépondreSupprimerIl y en a qui sont très très bien, d'autres qui font un peu baclées. Certaines ont un côté un peu manga (dans les pupilles qui rétrécissent) mais ça va plutôt bien avec ton trait. Essaye juste de ne pas te limiter au yeux/bouche/sourcils. L'ensemble de visage bouge lors des divers expressions de visage. Je te conseille aussi de t'aider d'autoportraits.
